The Napa Valley Tour Guide Guild is a non-profit association dedicated to promoting and maintaining excellence, integrity, and professionalism within the wine country tour industry.

The Guild sets forth by-laws, a code of ethics, and professional standards accepted by each member.

The Guild is limited to the original charter members and those persons who fulfill the following requirements:

  1. Sponsorship by a current member in good standing.
  2. Residency in the Napa/Sonoma wine country.
  3. Completion of 25 motorcoach tours in the wine country.
  4. References from the tour companies employing them.
  5. Are accepted by the membership committee.

The Guild serves its members as a forum for education and training, representation in the marketplace, job referral, certification, compensation guidelines, and promotion of the Napa/Sonoma wine country as a travel destination.
